Overseas sales is a very insteresting job. We sit at the front of computer and discuss with customers to sell products. For people who is not familiar with this job, they may just think we are so comfortable, do not have to go to visit customers, just get orders via a computer, also they may think if anyone who is good at english, then he will be a good overseas sales.
But we all know, it's not so easy to be a good overseas sales. English is just a tool, product knowledges is also important. However, in my opinion both of them are not the key point to be a good sales.
The key point should be the ability of getting their trust.
Somebody is good at english, but not good at communication.
Somebody is good at product knowledge, but not good at sharing to customer and make them understood.
But the one who can think stand on the customers' shoes, will understand customer very well, and give the best solution.
Then he will get the customer's trust.
Overseas sales is not about the language, not about the product, not about the order, it's about the trust.
