Describe a mistake you made

During my handover with Jennifer, the customer not arrange the shipment two batches. One order had already paid the balance payment, while the other did not pay the balance.
But i forgot that just told the customer neither order had been paid, causing them to overpay. Luckily, I realize this situation, I explained the situation to the customer, and hope they can understand. If they had mention it first, they might have felt why we overcharged them, which cause lot of trust between us. In the fruture, We need to prevent this from happening again.
We have many customers 100% fully payment, but the final quantity will inevitably deviate, potentially leading to  overpayment or underpayment. We need to promptly remind them and make clearly each order.

The mistake I made before is using the wrong customer's name. When I was quoting for a new customer, I used a docs to copy an old customer’s information and record the new customer’s requirements on it. However, I saved the information to the wrong customer file, because I don’t use docs very often and haven’t mastered them proficiently. I don’t know if the customer has noticed it. From this incident, I have paid more attention to creating correct customer information. Carefulness is extremely important.

Just recently, I made a mistake. When I was made artwork proof for my customer, I forgot the compatibility issue between the electric mark and the color. Another customer of mine had the same problem. If we determine the position of the electric eye on the packaging machine without knowing its exact location, the customer will encounter errors during use.

A big mistake that may cause a big financial damage, I arrange a production without advance payment.
It's the order from Erik, the one who has cooperated with us for more than 2 years. At the beginning, Kim was the one who connect with us, but after 2 orders, Kim said that he quit this project, and transit it to Erik, and also, Kim has reminded me that Erik is a sneaky guy.
After 2 orders' communication with Erik, I just felt everything is fine, it seems that Erik is easy to work together.
Then in this July, he asked me to arrange 2 batches of bags, 140K per batch, and they were urgent, he will arrange the advance payment soon. But we haven't received it after more than a week. When I checked with him, he said that his customer was working on that, just a bit slow. However, we have finished the printing and laminating at that time.
What made me struglling was that the first batch's advance payment has taken more than a month. It's really a crazy thing.

But we have printed all of these 2 batches as Erik's requests, it makes us so passive.
After 2 small batches of of air shipping, Erik asked to ship all of the 1st batch with only pay the balance payment for it.
It means that there is nothing in advance payment for the 2nd batch of bags.
Really impossible.

We must keep the business principle, 30% in advance payment at least, normally 50% in advance payment and left before shipping.

There was one time when I replied to customer’s message, the customer asked if we had the sample roll film, could you send it to us, we wanted to check it, and then I asked for the customer's address, It's actually quite normal here, but I overthought it and asked her if she needed a transparent roll film testing machine, which might have confused the customer here. I should directly ask for the address and send the samples.
And last Friday,I edited the video,when I used the after compressing the video with Format Factory, the exported video cannot be played. At that time, I did not check it and uploaded it to YouTube. Later, I found that the video in the file could not be opened. I sent it to Lexi, and she compressed it and it worked, so I concluded that my Format Factory was the problem. I covered a new format factory , then this issue was solved
