Do you think “low price” customers are worth keeping long-term? Why or why not?

I think some low-price customers are worth keeping long-term. In my experience, there are two types of low-price customers:
One type only cares about low prices, with very small order volumes, and they always ask for lower prices while expecting high quality.
The other type has low-price agreements because they place large orders with us.
So I believe if a customer’s order volume is likely to grow in the future, they are worth keeping long-term. But if their volume doesn’t increase and they only place small orders while constantly asking for lower prices, I don’t think it’s worth keeping them long-term.

The price just a small and unimportant part, the customer truly care about the bag/rolls quality, and our professional of the packaging, to help customer create the brand image, because the cost of packaging only account for a small part of the product.

Do you mean, the price is just a small and unimportant part, the customer truly care about the quality of bag/roll, and our professional knowledge of packaging will help the customer to create the brand image.

I think if the low price customers with big quantity and stable repeat orders, without complex technical details, then it's worthy to keep long-term cooperation.
But if a customer just focus on low price, we have only a little profit, but the customer order is not so easy to produce or the quantity is small, then it's not worthy to keep cooperating for long-term.

This is not worthwhile, because good customer won't choose a supplier simply because of cheap packaging. Packaging may account for 10% of a project. What customer truly need is quality and consistency.
