I think some low-price customers are worth keeping long-term. In my experience, there are two types of low-price customers:
One type only cares about low prices, with very small order volumes, and they always ask for lower prices while expecting high quality.
The other type has low-price agreements because they place large orders with us.
So I believe if a customer’s order volume is likely to grow in the future, they are worth keeping long-term. But if their volume doesn’t increase and they only place small orders while constantly asking for lower prices, I don’t think it’s worth keeping them long-term. |
