Today, I was explaining to a client that once new cylinders are produced based on the updated artwork, the old cylinders will be taken out of service.
After discussing this with an AI assistant, I felt that the following phrasing would be more effective:
"For production accuracy and version control, old cylinders are normally discontinued once a new artwork version is confirmed."
I believe this revised version the one you mentioned later is superior to the original draft. From the client's perspective, their primary concerns are the final result and accuracy; therefore, we only need to mention this point briefly rather than going into an overly elaborate explanation. This is essentially an internal operational matter for us to manage; presenting excessive details to the client might simply overwhelm them with information. What do you think?

I don’t agree with you. If the customer change the new design, we need to double confirm whether the rolls design will stop to be used in the future, then we can change or remake the cylinders according that.
