The material I want to study in depth is polylactic acid (PLA), a bio-based polymer. As the packaging industry shifts toward sustainability, PLA has emerged as a promising biodegradable alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics such as PE and BOPP. Compared with conventional materials, however, I am still not very familiar with PLA’s key properties, including its water vapor and oxygen barrier performance, and I don’t clear about the specific application scenarios where it can be most effectively used.

For mono-material structures, our current order volume is still relatively limited. However, as more countries gradually move toward fully recyclable packaging requirements, this will become a significant market demand.

We believe mono-material packaging represents a long-term trend rather than a short-term option. Based on the specific characteristics and application requirements of different products, we aim to provide customized packaging solutions that balance sustainability, performance, and cost efficiency for our customers.

Our goal is not only to meet current needs, but also to help our customers prepare for future regulatory and market changes through suitable and reliable packaging solutions.

The material PE is a very commonly used and well known film.
It seems so easy in the laminated structures, it's OK for food contact and heat sealable.
And it's OK to be modified against different products requirements, like anti-static for powder products, low heat sealing temperature for film rolls, anti-puncture for solid product and heavy products and so on.
It seems we just need to tell the PE manufacturer about the products requirements, then they will give us suitable PE film.
But during the deeper and deeper studying on the materials, I realized that PE is a very complex film.
There are so many modification on PE film.
Now I just know that the most commonly used LDPE is Three-layer co-extrusion, it's 3 layers different PE, the first layer is suitable for laminating and the third layer is suitable for heat sealing, the middle layer connect all of them.
Also there is some LDPE is made with 5 layer co-extrusion or 7 layer even 9 layer co-extrusion, depends on the products requirement, with EVOH or PA inside.
But I don't when should we use the 5 layer solution, when should we use the 7 layers solotion or 9 layers. It's really a big project.
I will keep studying on it, and share all details with everybody.

PP film, I couldn't tell the difference between CPP, OPP, RCPP, and BOPP before. These four materials are all PP film, such as OPP and BOPP, which produce different characteristics of film through different film stretching processes; CPP is produced by the flow-casting method, without the process of stretching, but CPP film is more elastic, At low temperatures, the performance is better, and RCPP is heat-resistant, that is, heat-resistant CPP film, so RCPP is often used for heat-resistant packaging, so it can be more easily distinguished.
It is really a very amazing thing that the same kind of roll film produces different performance after being processed by different processes and applied to various different parts .
And through this topic ,I have a new cognition of the PP film ,and I also hope that I can get more new knowledge in this field .

I've always wanted to learn about candy packaging. A customer wanted to order about 20ft candy packaging per month, which seemed like good order quantity. However, I know very little about twisted PET, so I could only introduce them to a supplier Bruce knows. I believe candy packaging has a huge market
