Materials. Mostly
Size If the customer is a startup, then there may not have the specific dimensions.
But the product is sometimes also quite vague,
For example, if consumers want to pack"coffee",but they don't specify whether they want coffee beans or coffee powder.
For example, if consumers said that they want to pack rice, but it does not mention the specific requirements of the packaging, whether it is vacuum-sealed or regular packaging.
think one step ahead when encountering problems.
I think it's about design. Many customers don't know that they should send us editable design drafts. So, usually at the first time, they share with us pictures in formats like JPG or PNG. Therefore, many times we need to ask the customer for formats like AI or PDF that can be edited. Meanwhile, customers don't understand the requirements for design clarity in printing. So, many times the designs they provide become unclear when enlarged. This also requires us to communicate with the them again to get a clearer version.
In my experience, customers often only know the dimensions, weight of the product the need to package, and artwork at the beginning of a packaging project. The are usually unclear about the materials and how to adapt them to the packaging machine. This is where we demonstrate our professionalism.
