Tear Notch Implementation: Pre-Made Bags vs Film Rolls

For pre-made bags, we add the tear notch at the pouch-making stage. However, when the order is for film rolls, we normally do not add the tear notch during our production.
Can we assume that the tear notch will be applied on the customer's FFS machine during the pouch-forming stage?
And if a customer specifically requests a tear notch on the film roll itself, what technical limitations, feasibility issues, or additional requirements should we consider?

For almost all of the film rolls, easy tear notch is made by the FFS packing machine. But if the customer wants to make the easy tear line by laser score on the horizontal direction, then we need make it in advance on the film roll.
For other type easy tear notch made by cuting mold, it's better to make it all by the FFS packing machine.
