Packaging Thickness for 5kg Rice Bags

When packaging rice in 5kg bags , how thick should the packaging material be to provide optimal protection without being too heavy? Is 50 microns sufficient, or do we need something thicker for durability? What thickness would best protect the rice while keeping costs in check?
