Knowledge Sharing: Handling Packaging Dimensions (AI vs Real Requirement)

I have observed many cases where customers generate packaging dimensions using AI tools or online generators. I have personally experienced multiple situations where the dimensions shared by customers appeared clearly to be AI-generated.

However, as a brand advisor/packaging consultant, our role is not only to process orders but also to guide customers in the right direction.

Best Practice Approach:

• If a proper bag dimension report is available
  • We should share it directly with the customer.
  • This is the fastest and most accurate solution.
    
• If dimensions are unclear or not professionally validated
  • We should guide the customer toward a more practical approach:
    • Recommend providing stock samples
    • Allow customers to test different bag structures (stand-up pouch, flat bottom, side gusset, etc.)

Why this is important:

AI-generated dimensions often do not consider real filling behavior, sealing performance, and shelf display requirements. Therefore, practical testing always leads to better packaging decisions.
